Positively Petite: Annual Miniature Exhibition

2D and 3D Miniatures in the Atrium and Online

Positively Petite is an annual exhibition unique to Place des Arts that showcases small artwork created by local artists. All two-dimensional artwork on exhibit is 30 square inches or smaller and all three-dimensional artwork is 60 cubic inches or smaller.

This years’ show features artworks in various mediums including painting, ceramics, fibre arts, sculpture, photography, printmaking and mixed media from over 30 local artists.

The pieces in this exhibition make unique gifts for the art lover on your list or those you want to introduce to the beautiful world of art. All purchases directly support cultural programming at Place des Arts and the exhibiting artists.

Artwork sales begin at 9:30am on Friday, November 12 in-person and by phone. Artwork cannot be reserved; sales are on a first-come, first-served basis. Phone calls will be handled when not serving in-person customers. If making purchases by phone, clients must be prepared with the artist’s name, artwork number, title and sale price.

Artwork will remain on display for the first week of the exhibition to give visitors a chance to enjoy the exhibition in its entirety. Pick-up of sold artwork begins at 9:00am on Friday, November 19 through to Thursday, December 16 at 9:00pm.
