Oil, acrylic and resin on canvas at Poirier Library Lounge, Coquitlam Public Library

Bloomscapes: Emotion in Colour is a body of work that explores the emotional landscape of contemporary womanhood through vibrant abstraction, floral symbolism, and intimate figurative moments. Each piece reflects a facet of a feminine experience — its tenderness, resilience, vulnerability and unapologetic vibrancy.

My process is rooted in intuition. I layer acrylics, oils, resin, and fluid textures to create dreamlike environments where colour becomes emotion and movement becomes memory. Nature serves as a metaphor for rebirth and inner light; blooms become a language of healing, freedom and transformation.

The floral series including “Candy Garden,” “Floral Lagoon,” “Meadow of Paradise,” and others, evokes soft power through atmospheric colour, pastels, and organic forms. These pieces are not simply florals; they are emotional terrains, holding stories of longing, growth and calm amidst chaos.

With “Lost in the Game,” geometric forms introduce a sense of structure, reflecting the tension between control and freedom, and the ways we contain or release emotion.

Together, the collection forms a visual diary of feminine energy: sensual yet introspective, delicate yet fierce. Through luminous palettes, fluid compositions, and layered abstraction, I offer a vision of womanhood blooming through light.

Bloomscapes: Emotion in Colour invites viewers into a sensorial world where softness becomes strength, colour becomes emotion, and every painting becomes a moment of inner bloom.
