Place des Arts’ mandate is to support local emerging artists by providing exhibition opportunities and exposure. Our three gallery spaces are open to the public seven days a week and regularly host more than 23 exhibitions and 100,000 visitors per year.
Local artisans who create original, quality hand-crafted items are welcome to apply to be a part of our Artisan Shop, which is open year-round, or during our Holiday Artisan Shop, which runs from November – December each year.
We are seeking items to be sold in our Holiday Artisan Shop including tree ornaments, holiday decorations, beeswax candles, wood, glass, leather or ceramic works. The Shop will not accept paintings, prints or photographs, greeting cards, jewellery or crafts made from kits. Items are not required to be holiday-themed. Download the application form here.
