Artist Statement
I am a watercolour artist and illustrator. I have a deep love of exploring nature and being outside. This series of paintings was inspired by my fleeting interactions with tiny birds native to BC and Western North America. I express the joy these birds bring me by exaggerating and accentuating their various features.
Biography
Heike Kuzminski is an artist and designer living in Coquitlam with her husband and two sons. Her preferred medium is watercolour and ink. She is inspired by nature, isolating elements and details to create simple and striking compositions. Subjects are typically florals and animals in their natural habitat. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Design, Heike has over a decade of experience in Interior Design. She strives to create work that harmonizes with and enhances living spaces.

Sales are open in-person and by phone during operating hours. Sales end at 9:00pm on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
How to Purchase by Phone

- Call our Registration Desk at 604-664-1636 ext. 0 to complete your purchase. Please have your credit card ready.
- A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you to pick up your artwork. Sold artwork can be picked up during operating hours until 9:00pm on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
