Artist Statement
I’m continually inspired by nature and strive to capture its magic through the flow of watercolour, an amazingly versatile medium. I believe painting is meditative for both the painter and the viewer, and I hope my paintings convey optimism and tranquility. Inspired by beautiful photographs, I painted this series of oceans with a focus on their interaction with the sky at various times of day when they can show their true colours or be mirrors that reflect the sky.
Biography
Homa is self-taught and has been painting in watercolour for five years. She started to practice drawing six years ago, then moved on to using coloured pencils, followed by watercolour pencils then watercolours. Homa mostly paints landscapes and flowers, her paintings often include some detail work with the occasional use of granulation, iridescent and gold effects.

Sales are open in-person and by phone during operating hours. Sales end at 9:00pm on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
How to Purchase by Phone
- Make note of the artist name, artwork number, title and sale price.
- Call our Registration Desk at 604-664-1636 ext. 0 to complete your purchase. Please have your credit card ready.
- A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you to pick up your artwork. Sold artwork can be picked up during operating hours until 9:00pm on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
