This January 26, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, welcome in the new year with three new exhibitions and a brand-new Family Day! Start your afternoon with a self-guided tour of our new exhibitions: Collaborative Alchemy – an exhibition of plant-based visual art by Pierre Leichner, Edward Peck and Phyllis Schwarts, Happiness is a thing called… by Tammy Pilon and The Influencer by Alex Sandvoss. Then, join three drop-in style art activities based on the subject matter and mediums of the exhibitions.

• Gain inspiration from artist Phyllis Schwartz as she demonstrates the process of developing lumen prints used to create her works.
• Experiment with watercolours and create your own abstract artwork like artist Tammy Pilon.
• Using collage techniques, make a mixed-media masterpiece inspired by Alex Sandvoss’ paintings of the advertisement industry.
