Youth Arts Council

Place des Arts’ Youth Arts Council was created to encourage local teens to engage with the arts community. The council organizes and hosts a youth-oriented event each year and advises Place des Arts on teen engagement. This dedicated group of teen volunteers contribute to providing new and exciting opportunities for their peers to participate in the arts. Please note: Participants must reside within the Tri Cities.

The 2024/2025 edition of the Youth Arts Council worked together and created their very own logo! From here on out, YAC will be able to use this as an identifier on all digital and print promotional materials.

 

 

 

 

 

About the YAC Logo:

  • Sun=Strength/Energy/Power of youth.
  • Paint Brush=Signifies the art organization they represent and the activities they organize.
  • Wave/Paint Stroke=The Vancouver area is known for it’s beautiful ocean and lakes.

 

The 2024/2025 YAC used their new logo on shirts. This helps to identify them as a team to the public when they participate or run community events.
