Meet Teacher, Lena Savic

I studied Art History at Belgrade University and Fine Arts at Langara College and ECUAD. My fields of exploration include mixed media, installation, photography and poetry. I’ve taken part in various artist residencies, facilitated and participated in community art projects, open studios and city art events. I have run art programs and workshops for children and adults for over 15 years. After graduating from Expressive Arts Therapy, my interests in intermodal expression expanded, as this psychotherapy model uses the flow of creative process between different art forms (dance, drama, visual arts, poetry) for healing and growth. It’s an ongoing work with individuals, groups, communities and myself.
