At Place des Arts, we know Halloween is coming when our annual Mr. I’s Slightly Spooky Songs and Stories Concert and our Day of the Arts camp comes along. This year, to spread some Halloween spirit, we put together this art activity video so kids of all ages can learn how to make creepy monster bookmarks. This activity is easy to modify for whatever type of creature you want.

This activity requires:

• Construction paper (whatever colour you like)
• gluestick
• scissors
• googly eyes
• tape
• markers

Join us this Wednesday, October 30, at the last Learn + Play event of the year to make a bookmark with us in person! This event will be on Level 1 in front of Hudson’s Bay from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Children from 3 to 10 years old are invited to complete a variety of early learning activities.
