All teachers offer paid trial lessons which provide an opportunity to meet the teacher and decide if they are a good fit for you. Private lessons can be booked individually, weekly or for the duration of either September to June or Summer terms.

Ashley Binette
Children and Adult Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Hip Hop
Ashley found her love for dance and performing at a very young age. With over 20 years in the performing arts industry, she has earned titles such as National Gold Champion for two consecutive years in dance competitions in Las Vegas and Orlando, as well as National Silver Champion in a dance competition in Portland, Oregon.
Ashley is trained in tap, hip hop, jazz, musical theatre and ballet and has trained with many masters, including Jeni Le Gon, Jason Samuels Smith and Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo (NappyTabs).
She was a backup dancer for Tazneem Tarmohamed, has been featured in television commercials such as Alley Cats, and performed in local productions, including For The Luv Of It, West Side Story and the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games Ceremony. Ashley is always eager to share her knowledge and continue to learn in every aspect in the performing arts industry.

Amanda Lau
Jazz and Lyrical Dance
Amanda is a Vancouver-based performing artist, choreographer, dance educator, and vocalist with over 19 years of training in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, stage, tap, and street jazz. She has extensive teaching experience across various ages, levels, and genres. Her expertise has also led her to adjudicate at multiple festivals, including the Performing Arts BC Regional Festivals and Tri-Cities Got Talent, for the past 8 years.
Amanda was selected as a dancer for the Vancouver Canucks during their 2024 playoffs and continues to represent the team through promotional events and community engagements. She is also a professional cheerleader for the NLL Vancouver Warriors while also working in film, music videos and print ads. In addition, she has taught, trained and performed across BC with the Vancouver Tap Dance Society’s touring ensemble, TAPCO. She has also trained with renowned tap masters Michelle Dorrance and Jason Samuel Smith. As a vocalist and performer, she has received scholarships and awards from BC Performing Arts, Arts Club Theatre, CDMF and Kiwanis.
Amanda’s teaching philosophy is growth-oriented and focuses on cultivating creativity and confidence through movement. All students will be learning in a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment. She looks forward to sharing her passion for dance with her students!

Lucienne Anczykowski
Children and Adult Ballet, Pointe
A professional ballet teacher certified in the Vaganova method, Lucienne began her studies as a Polish State Ballet School resident, later working toward her professional teaching credentials at the University of Music in Warsaw. She danced professionally with the Maurice Bejart Theatre de XX Siècle in Belgium. Lucienne continues to advance her teaching skills at the prestigious National Ballet School. Many of her former students have gone on to professional careers including Broadway and the National Ballet of Canada.

Mikaela Gray
Adult Jazz for All Levels
Mikaela (She/Her) is a versatile dance educator with over 20 years of training and teaching experience dating back to 2019. She has performed and trained with multiple street style companies and loves supporting her students’ growth while helping them fall in love with dance.

Vanessa Hodges
Dance & Movement
Vanessa Hodges (she/her) is a Performing Arts BC Provincial Champion with film and television credits. She teaches ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and acro, and is passionate about dance education. Vanessa is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where dancers build strong technique, confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love of movement.
