Place des Arts is seeking committed, enthusiastic and qualified teachers for our 2024/2025 season. Find out more about these positions below:

We are seeking Arts Instructors to teach offsite after-school programs at School District 43 elementary and middle schools for our Art a la Carte program.

 

Work at Place des Arts

We seek an Events and Volunteer Coordinator to coordinate and deliver on- and off-site events, programs and other activities. This position also oversees all aspects of volunteer coordination for the organization. The deadline to apply is July 22, 2024.

Exhibit at Place des Arts

Place des Arts’ mandate is to support local emerging artists by providing exhibition opportunities and exposure. Our three gallery spaces are open to the public seven days a week and regularly host more than 23 exhibitions and 100,000 visitors per year.

Sell at Place des Arts

Local artisans who create original, quality hand-crafted items are welcome to apply to be a part of our Artisan Shop, which is open year-round, or during our Holiday Artisan Shop, which runs from November – December each year.

We are seeking items to be sold in our Holiday Artisan Shop including tree ornaments, holiday decorations, beeswax candles, wood, glass, leather or ceramic works. The Shop will not accept paintings, prints or photographs, greeting cards, jewellery or crafts made from kits. Items are not required to be holiday-themed. Download the application form here.
