Biography

I grew up locally, taking art classes throughout school. I learned knitting from my mother. Over the years, I have been largely self-taught in the additional arts of spinning yarn and weaving.

Artist Statement

Working for an art materials company for many years gave insights into the varied ways people use materials to express their creativity, and this experience has been a great inspiration.

Colour is also a creative spur. The interplay of colour, light and texture in all my surroundings is a constant source of joy and motivation.
