I use my art as a communication tool. I’ve never been the greatest at communicating or articulating, especially to strangers. Being able to create artwork allows me to express myself in ways I wouldn’t be able to normally. No matter how strange or ambiguous the art piece is and no matter the meaning or reasoning, it will always have a part of me and what I like incorporated inside. As a result, the people who view my art are able to see a small version of me through my works. Being able to show vulnerability with my emotions in my art with a whimsical approach has been a goal because it has the power to turn my negative feelings into positive experiences and allows people to see my dark in a different light.

It’s a joy to welcome people through my artwork to show them who I am and what I love. Anyone and everyone can have their own connection to my art, and I always find it fascinating and comforting how I am automatically connected to viewers through my art without needing to say a word.
