Age Policy
Classes are organized to match the developmental abilities of each age group, ensuring all students have an engaging and age-appropriate learning experience. Students must meet the minimum and maximum age requirements specified for each class.
Offered in music and dance, and upon request, visual arts and theatre, private lessons provide personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each student’s needs and schedule. Visit placedesarts.ca/music/registration-info-private lessons for teacher biographies and available teaching days.
All music teachers offer paid trial lessons, giving students the chance to meet the teacher and ensure a good fit. Payment secures the selected trial lesson date and time only and does not reserve that time for ongoing lessons. Trial private lessons may be rescheduled without losing payment provided 48 hours’ notice is given and the lesson stays with the same teacher. More than one reschedule will incur a $15 fee.
