We are seeking committed individuals who are interested in joining the Coquitlam Place des Arts Society Board of Directors. We encourage applications from volunteers with expertise in any of the following fields:

  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Legal
  • Human Resources
  • Financial Management/Accounting
  • Fundraising

To engage as a Director requires:

  • attending at least 10 meetings per year, each sometimes three (3) hours long, monthly and otherwise as required,
  • attending Place des Arts special events,
  • leading or being active on at least one board committee, and
  • building relationships and/or using your professional network to support fundraising efforts.

Applications are encouraged from qualified candidates who meet the above criteria and live anywhere in the Lower Mainland. Interested individuals are invited to complete the application form at  Director Application Form by Sunday, October 15, 2023, 11:59 PM. Place des Arts welcomes applications from all qualified individuals. This volunteer position requires an interview, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. Successful candidates are required to obtain and provide a Police Information Check with a vulnerable sector check and provide references prior to joining the board.
