Artist Statement
Special Delivery is a series of watercolour paintings that combine the themes of gift-giving and transportation. This year, our forest creatures are preparing for a great picnic where they will gather to share food, drink, song, and letters from afar, to make the world seem brighter for just a moment. Boy, do we need it!
Each tiny watercolour painting is mounted on wood, embellished with paper tole layering, and finished with a protective wax medium for water resistance.
Biography
Melissa is a watercolour artist from Surrey, who loves to paint plants and animals in a whimsical, semi-realistic style. She exhibits in local group shows and markets and has many collectors across North America. You can see her painting process and inspiration on YouTube and on her website.

Artwork cannot be reserved; sales are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sales are open in-person and by phone during operating hours. Sales end at 9:00pm on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
How to Purchase by Phone

- Make note of the artist name, artwork number and title.
- Call our Registration Desk at 604-664-1636 ext. 0 to complete your purchase. Please have your credit card ready.
- A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you to pick up your artwork. Sold artwork can be picked up during operating hours until 9:00pm on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
