Artist Statement
New landscapes in acrylic with dramatic lighting and atmospheric perspectives portraying dynamic visual pathways.
The frames function as “windows” to the natural world – vistas strategically placed inside on a bookshelf or wall. Most of the frames are natural wood and have been thrifted, re-used, refurbished and restored.
It is my hope that the viewer will enjoy the optical illusion of nature’s immensity captured in a shadow box frame.
