Biography
I’m a Vancouver-based, self-taught artist with a background in film. My creative practice has grown through curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to explore different techniques and mediums, with my film experience influencing how I approach composition, light, mood, and storytelling.
I’m deeply inspired by both art and nature, often drawn to organic forms, natural rhythms, and the small, quiet details that are easy to overlook. Nature grounds me, and I aim to reflect its sense of flow, movement, and stillness in my work.
My process is intuitive and guided by feeling rather than strict planning. I use vibrant colours and nature-inspired elements to express themes of growth, transformation, and connection, creating spaces where inner landscapes and the natural world meet.
Through my work, I aim to capture moments that feel soft, present, and alive, inviting others to slow down and reconnect with themselves and their surroundings.
Artist Statement
My artistic practice is rooted in intuition, colour, and a deep connection to the natural world. Inspired by nature, energy, and animals, I paint from feeling rather than strict planning, allowing each piece to unfold organically.
This work, featuring a wolf surrounded by colour, represents our inner voice. The wolf symbolizes strength, awareness, and protection, the part of us that remains steady, speaks up when needed, and supports us through challenges.
My journey at Place des Arts is just beginning, and being surrounded by art and artists in so many forms brings a steady sense of inspiration, perspective, and quiet motivation as I continue to grow.
