Artist Statement
This series, Learning to Fly, is a visual refuge, designed to invite viewers to pause and reflect. Through the use of soothing colours and the bird forms, I aim to create a sense of calm from the world’s chaos. By encouraging viewers to slow down and immerse themselves in the present moment, my artwork seeks to inspire mindfulness, introspection, and connection to a sense of calm. I create art to nourish the soul and bring peace into a chaotic world.
