Images and Ideas is an exhibition of artwork created by current and former students taught by Don Portelance, one of Place des Arts’ founding members. Don provides an opportunity for advanced visual arts students to continue improving their abilities and challenging themselves artistically. With a focus on mediums, styles and ideas, Don creates an enriched program for students committed to their artistic practice. Images and Ideas gives these students the opportunity to learn what is involved in participating in an exhibition while offering viewers insight into their creative process!
