Looking for something creative to do with the family? Join us for an art-filled afternoon with hands-on activities for all ages led by talented artists.

At this free event, explore our current exhibitions, experiment with art mediums and discover the performing arts! Take home any creations made during the event. Pre-registration is encouraged.

Reserve tickets for every member of your family who will be in attendance (i.e. if you are attending with 3 other family members, please reserve 4 tickets).’

Activities planned for this Family Day include:

• Stamp-a-Card and Reconnect with Molly Gray (LPS)
  Get creative with fun stamps, colours, and messages! Design a unique greeting card to brighten someone’s day and celebrate meaningful connections. 
• Felted Cut-Out Ornaments with Candice Weber (Room 202) 
  Create your own adorable felt ornament by assembling and stitching together pre-cut pieces. Add simple embroidery details, colours, and decorations to make it uniquely yours. Choose from fun fall designs like mushrooms and pumpkins! 
• Play with Clay with Fraser Valley Potters Guild Association (Room 109)
  Join members from the Fraser Valley Potters Guild to play with squishy mud and make clay creations. Make your own version of one of the projects on display or use your imagination to create something new!
• Latin Dance for All with Sofia Sanchez (Room 103)
  Get moving with an upbeat introduction to the vibrant world of Latin dance! Explore rhythms and steps inspired by salsa, merengue, cumbia, samba, and reggaeton while learning about their cultural roots and musical traditions. No experience needed! 
• Artist Demonstration (Atrium)
  Join artisan shop artist Heidi Choi for a behind-the-scenes look at how her charming miniature clay creations come to life. Discover the tools, techniques, and creative process behind these tiny, handcrafted works of art, and learn what inspires her whimsical designs.
