Artist Statement

I see the world as a rich source of inspiration. I am interested in how the world works, how humans interact, how our wilderness is shrinking with the growth of cities and the resulting outfall of human activity. I am particularly concerned about the effect humans have on the natural environment.

I feel at ease with most media. It is important for me to honour my materials, reveal my process and create artwork that stimulates the imagination and moves the soul. My artwork examines a variety of issues, including urban decay, global issues and the beauty of the world around us.
