My art tends to depict common subjects in life with unusual themes. I choose common actions and objects and portray them with subjects or colours that make them different from how they usually are. Thus, something in the background becomes slightly “distorted” while the main focus is untouched, like a bubble of peace in the eye of the storm. I create art with a subject that is ignorant of its surroundings, the same way people go about their lives as if nothing in the world is wrong.
