Artist Statement
I have created a series of mixed media abstract paintings on paper using acrylic inks, collage and pencil for this exhibition. Mixed media gives me a lot of freedom of expression. My hope is that viewers stop by and notice all the tiny details in the paintings. I use colour, shapes, lines and design to make my work stand out. I always start with a certain feeling and then leave it up to the viewer to come up with their own interpretations.
Biography
Asma is a contemporary artist. She lives and paints out of Surrey. She works in a variety of mediums, subjects and substrates. Her art is influenced by nature, travels, world events and life in general. Because she cannot pinpoint her subjects (sometimes she does), she enjoys doing abstract or semi abstract art where she can express her feelings in a subtle manner.

Sales are open in-person and by phone during operating hours. Sales end at 9:00pm on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

- Call our Registration Desk at 604-664-1636 ext. 0 to complete your purchase. Please have your credit card ready.
- A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you to pick up your artwork. Sold artwork can be picked up during operating hours until 9:00pm on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
