My name is Adele Tremblay. I am a young photographer in the Vancouver area. I mostly take photos of the music scene here. I go to punk shows with my camera, catching moments of people being in their element, enjoying the music and dancing in their own way. Capturing just one second of people’s pure emotion. The reason I love being a photographer is being able to capture someone’s raw moments. For me, there is no other feeling but that – being in the middle of it all, having the adrenaline going through your body, taking photos and getting that perfect shot. The feeling of knowing that you captured something amazing and not being able to sleep because you just have to edit it. I have been part of the New West Culture Crawl for the past two years and have a published book of photography. Photography is my passion, it brings me so much joy and I hope to do it for the rest of my life as my career.
