Forest of Noise 

When hands reach out,

Whose hands would you hold, shake, grasp,

or hold firm (and maybe save?)

Or cup your hands in prayer and wish it away?

Or palimpsest into a pretty thing, and call it a miracle (or luck?)

Or wait for others to hear, appear and save you?
