Artist Statement
I have continued to paint mini watercolour houses that are local and international. The various roof lines and colours of each house give them personalities all their own.
Biography
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Simone has always been aware of the beauty of her surroundings. Enjoying the visual and creative side of the arts throughout elementary and high school, she continued into college in applied design.
After raising two children and doing various volunteer work, she joined an art club. Through many workshops, Simone learned to apply different techniques to her work and created visual art using watercolour as a medium.
Simone is now using the medium of acrylics and pastels as well as watercolour to express her ideas.
Recently, she has been working on a series of urban buildings, street scenes and houses.
She continues to show her artwork through various art clubs and juried art shows. She has shown in the Maple Ridge Art Gallery, Port Moody Art Gallery, Place des Arts, Fort Langley Art Gallery, the Federation Gallery and Neilson Park Creative Centre in Ontario.

Artwork cannot be reserved; sales are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sales are open in-person and by phone during operating hours. Sales end at 9:00pm on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
How to Purchase by Phone

- Make note of the artist name, artwork number, title and sale price.
- Call our Registration Desk at 604-664-1636 ext. 0 to complete your purchase. Please have your credit card ready.
- A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you to pick up your artwork. Sold artwork can be picked up during operating hours until 9:00pm on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
