Biography

I am a ceramic and mixed media artist who is passionate about sharing my love of three-dimensional art with people of all ages. I have a BFA in Ceramics from Emily Carr University of Art & Design and 19 years of experience teaching and making art. My art practice focuses on storytelling, whimsy and colour as it relates to sculptural forms.

Artist Statement

These objects are an exploration of beginnings, growth and evolution through the reimagining of the slightly familiar into the new and imaginary. By embracing your unique creativity, you are invited to consider how these forms may have come into being and how they connect with each other, to their environment and you. By combining clay, colour, texture and whimsy, I hope that you are intrigued.
