Biography

The versatility of clay has had Susan hooked since 2015. Clay teaches many things – patience above all. Her diploma in Graphic Design and Illustration from Capilano College provides the foundation for balance, layout and design in all of her pottery.

Artist Statement

Making tiny things invite the viewer to look closely and inspect the details. I am drawn to clean, simple lines, repeating patterns and textures. I love the ocean and birds and try to incorporate them into my pottery.
