Ross Ling is a violinist born in Taiwan and currently residing in Vancouver. Growing up, Ms. Ling was involved in various music performances and competitions. She continued her violin studies at the University of Victoria (UVic) under Sharon Stanis, a violinist from the Lafayette String Quartet. During her four years at UVic, she was selected to play in many guests master classes with David Stewart (concertmaster of the Bergen Symphony), Yosuke Kawasaki (concertmaster of the NAC orchestra in Canada, Saguenay/Alcan Quebec) and the Lafayette String Quartet. Her quartet was chosen to perform in the open house for the UVic School of Music. She also won the top prize at the Solo Bach Competition in 2019.

Since 2019, Ms. Ling has been regularly performing and recording with Vancouver Metropolis Orchestra. Aside from performing, she is also a faculty member at the BC Conservatory of Music and Pacific Chamber Music Academy. As a dedicated violin instructor, Ms. Ling loves helping students to explore their potential and assisting them to reach their goals.
