Artist Statement
“Do not leave your longings unattended” – Austin Kleon
To me, art and art-making is a life-enhancing force; powerful, creative, challenging, exhilarating, meditative and spiritual. Prior to retirement, art-making tended to take a back seat, but no more – the gifts of time, space and energy are my prompts to really dive in! Inspired by nature, personal stories and mixed media materials and techniques, I am curious to see how this process unfolds.
