Artist Statement
The Special Delivery series combines the themes of gift-giving and transportation with a little touch of magic. As life grows increasingly stressful and lonely, little acts of kindness and inspiration are always welcome. Watercolours are mounted on deep wood panels and finished with wax medium.
Biography
Melissa Peacock is a watercolour artist from Surrey who loves to paint plants and animals in an illustrative style to retain a natural sense of wonder in ordinary things. Her paintings show in local group exhibitions and markets and have collectors across North America. She briefly studied fine arts at Kwantlen University, but then left to play with cakes at Vancouver Community College. These days, you can find her sharing her painting process on YouTube and on her website.

Sales are open in-person and by phone during operating hours. Sales end at 9:00pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
How to Purchase by Phone

- Make note of the artist name, artwork number, title and sale price.
- Call our Registration Desk at 604-664-1636 ext. 0 to complete your purchase. Please have your credit card ready.
- A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you to pick up your artwork. Sold artwork can be picked up during operating hours until 9:00pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
