My name is Maral Rezaei, and I am a Grade 12 student currently studying at Terry Fox Secondary School. Art is my escape from the busy and overwhelming pace of everyday life, allowing my mind to relax and function more creatively. I began discovering my passion through designing cars and characters using Adobe Illustrator, then bringing them to life with Adobe After Effects. Over time, I started sketching by hand and realized how deeply I enjoyed the process of drawing and creating from scratch. From that point on, I practiced whenever I had the opportunity.

This year, I decided to further develop my artistic skills by taking a ceramics class, where I gained valuable experience working with clay and glaze through hands-on projects. I strongly believe that art should be created purely from passion and genuine interest, something the artist themselves can continuously admire. For me, the emotional connection to an artwork is more important than its visual appearance alone, and I aimed to reflect this belief in my own work.
