Artist Statement
Life is like a canvas, and I am inspired by the beauty around me and hope to reproduce what my senses perceive in nature as seen through our inner soul with colours on my canvas. I love colours and work mostly with acrylics and mixed media. I like to embed thoughtful textures into my artwork to convey energy, movement and a sense of beauty. Faith and nature are my guides as well as great artists like Monet and van Gogh. I hope each art piece will allow the viewer to feel the inward significance of the artwork I create from my heart.
Biography
Jacelyn’s passion for art started at a young age, blossoming as she began diving deeply into various art methods. After a foray into pressed flower art in the early 2000s, Jacelyn began painting diligently in 2008. Although largely a self-taught painter, Jacelyn has attended many art workshops. A long-time resident of Metro Vancouver, Jacelyn joined the Burnaby Artists Guild in 2009 and has been exhibiting and selling her work in their Annual Fall and Spring exhibitions. Since 2018, Jacelyn has been an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work has been shown in many juried art shows held annually.

Artwork cannot be reserved; sales are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sales are open in-person and by phone during operating hours. Sales end at 9:00pm on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
How to Purchase by Phone

- Make note of the artist name, artwork number, title and sale price.
- Call our Registration Desk at 604-664-1636 ext. 0 to complete your purchase. Please have your credit card ready.
- A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you to pick up your artwork. Sold artwork can be picked up during operating hours until 9:00pm on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
