I’m a BC certified teacher and a professionally trained artist. For me, working and collaborating in a school setting has been the most joyful, creative, and meaningful work I’ve ever experienced. As a teacher, I’m always looking for new ways to engage learners — and I have a special interest in technology and social/emotional development.

In my personal artwork, I’m intrigued by playful shapes and compassionate expressions of identity, culture, and community. Over the past years, I’ve continually experimented with video, digital art, writing, and a gestural portrait series called “Squiggleface.”

Every day, I’m keenly observing. Sometimes, a strange detail might catch my eye. The next moment, it might be a combination of colours. Every day, I see something different. Every day, I keep looking and learning.
