Audition for our one-of-a-kind 2022/2023 Coquitlam Youth Theatre program Find out More!

Date: July 26 • 2022 @ 7:00 pm
End date: July 31 • 2022 @ 7:00 pm

Join Place des Arts with First Nations artist Christine Mackenzie to take part in our community art project titled Sharing Culture through the Natural World.

We need your help to create an art piece that celebrates multiculturalism through First Nations art and culture. We are attending events throughout the summer and at each event, a different component of the art project will be filled in.

We can all identify with the natural world regardless of our culture or background. Find out more about the unique characteristics of traditional northwest coast animals and discover which animal you relate to. We invite you to ask questions and learn more about First Nations culture. Through your participation, we hope to inspire self-exploration, dialogue, learning and sharing.

Your voice matters. We are all important to the conversation in our diverse community.
