I create art to explore the complexities of personal experience, memory, and human connection. My cultural background, life story, and my observations of the world around me deeply influence my work. My father passed away when I was five. Although it was a painful experience, the event taught me how nothing is permanent and made me think deeply about all the connections surrounding me. I have the desire to discuss the meaning of life, the meaning of parting, and the meaning of love. Also, as an immigrant and Christian, my identities allowed me to illustrate diverse topics and connect with different people. These experiences molded my visual storytelling, allowing me to express emotions and narratives that cannot be spoken. I aim to create works that make people resonate with and cogitate while maintaining individuality as an artist. I used to create two-dimensional art both physically and digitally, and I am recently working with three-dimensional art and trying to find harmony between mixed media.
