Raised by fine arts graduates and working artists, I was immersed in visual expression from an early age. I experimented with a range of media, including acrylics, ink, gouache, pencil, and fabric. Ironically, my parents hesitated when I chose not to pursue a “safer” career path than visual art. Still, I knew my strongest connection was to the world of visual storytelling. Through hands-on exploration, I built a solid technical foundation and deepened my passion for creating art. As I developed my skills, I noticed that my approach to art often mirrored how I interact with the world: quietly, observantly, and with a keen sense of nuance. Much of my inspiration comes from everyday life, those small, fleeting moments that often go unnoticed. Subtlety fascinates me, the interplay of textures, the presence of the unseen, and understated emotions. Looking ahead, I want to create work that blends personal reflection with broader emotional or social themes, art that quietly invites attention and lingers in the viewer’s mind.
