Biography
Hi, my name is Brian. I graduated University a number of years ago. When I was younger, I wasn’t too expressive and had lots of issues with emotional expression. I love nature and love having meaningful conversations with people as well as having heart to heart conversations because these inspire me to do more artwork and express every single emotion and channel it through arts.
Artist Statement
My journey at Place des Arts has been meaningful for me since painting and drawing are excellent tools for emotional expression. The portrait of a woman really was very emotional for me since it brought me lots of happiness and realization about how drawing a person is a very rewarding yet challenging process. The watercolor one basically was very unique because it required lots of blending of diverse colours and finding the natural expression of nature. It’s really interesting because now that I’ve taken many classes, my mindset of how I see everything has changed and made me more perceptive about life.
