Artist Statement
Our gardens are filled with flowers of all shapes and colours, each with its own unique beauty!
Even as child I loved and admired flowers in the gardens, in the fields and alpine meadows.
The flowers share their strength, happiness and joy through their natural beauty.
They are friends to all through their giving and giving at daytime and at dusk they rest to then rise again at sunrise to give and shine once again.
Admiring from nature I too share with you their beauty through my flower paintings.
I love to paint within the watercolour medium as each of my paintings has it’s own unique beauty and outcome…

Biography
“I enjoy painting through the inspiration of the beauty that surrounds me”
Bernadette Rollin was born and raised in Switzerland where from an early childhood she loved to draw, paint and do crafts.
Bernadette began exploring decorative painting, which she fully explored for over ten years before discovering the beauty of watercolour painting. Since 1999, the technique and media of her art have evolved to include pastels, oils, acrylics, ink stamping and layering of porous material, all of which have challenged her to further explore the inner-depths of her art and creativity. Through the inspiration of Bernadette’s love of gardening, outdoor activities and nature, these themes are all incorporated throughout her art work. Bernadette’s beautiful paintings truly reflect her love of nature resulting in producing works of art that are rich in their visual delight.
Bernadette, a Founding Member of the Art Focus Art Group, is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Over the years, Bernadette has participated in many selected solo and group exhibitions with art work collected by a number of Government agencies as well as by art collectors around the world.
Currently, Bernadette, as well as being a practicing and well respected Artist in the Tri-Cities, has shared her extensive knowledge as an educator teaching her love for both her art mediums as well Hatha Yoga.

Artwork cannot be reserved; sales are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sales are open in-person and by phone during operating hours. Sales end at 9:00pm on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
How to Purchase by Phone

- Make note of the artist name, artwork number and title.
- Call our Registration Desk at 604-664-1636 ext. 0 to complete your purchase. Please have your credit card ready.
- A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you to pick up your artwork. Sold artwork can be picked up during operating hours until 9:00pm on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
