When creating art, what inspires me most are my personal experiences and societal issues. I explore ideas that come from my internal thoughts as well as observations of the world around me. I am interested in how people think and feel when viewing my work, and I aim to create pieces that elicit emotional responses and reflection rather than passive reception. I focus on poster designs, creating visually striking and complex designs that stand out. Colour plays an important role in my process, as I use it intentionally to communicate mood and emotion. I am interested in how visual elements can guide the viewer’s experience and reinforce the meaning behind an idea. I usually begin a piece with a strong concept that sparks emotion or leads to multiple ideas. From there, I sketch and brainstorm ways to bring the idea to life. Experimentation is an important part of my process, especially when something does not feel right. Creating art is something I enjoy, and it allows me to better understand complex ideas while sharing my perspectives with others.
