Artist Statement

For me, art is not something dispensable. It exists in every corner of the world and anything can become art through the creative process.

I utilize drawing and painting, however, I also enjoy exploring transparent, fluid and clear forms. Conversely, when I paint I prefer thick impasto use of acrylic and oil.

My work is not limited to depicting real things on paper. My ideas are often a little bit out of reality and more conceptual. Philosophy is something I am keenly interested in and that I explore in my artwork.

My personal identity is thin and silent rather than strong and sharp. I prefer to create something about myself and follow my feelings to complete my art, not to accomplish goals or solve existing problems.

In my opinion, art must be enjoyed and explored with the magic of perception. Most of the products of rationality are very purposeful, and I do not find a place for them in my artwork. To put it simply, rationality wants results and sensual perception wants artistic process.

I believe that artwork in and of itself is not art, it is only a carrier for the feelings and ideas of the artist. The artist decides what the artwork will carry.
