Artist Statement

Tiny Houses is a series of miniature sketches of imaginary houses, drawn with a fine ink pen, with small added details to attempt to capture the mood of a house and the aspects that make it a home. Each structure is shown from a front view in a style similar to an engineering elevation drawing, complete with a title block. Some depictions of inhabitants, furniture and landscaping are also included to assist the viewer in imagining the “living” aspects of a house and define its perceived character.

Each drawing is 3 inches tall by 2 inches wide, framed in a 5-inch by 3.5-inch frame.
