Artist Statement 

My artwork takes strong views against anti-environmentalism. One year ago, I stepped foot into my first art class. This was my first interaction with the world of visual arts. I keep wondering, why am I starting so late? Back in my childhood, and even now, I am not the most artistic person, so my initial reaction was that visual arts was not for me. However, a few weeks after I joined my art class, I realized that although I lacked in technical skill, my strength resided in my ability to communicate ideas through simple forms. Spending time in art helped open up many potential creative careers, such as architecture, which I want to pursue. Being an avid environmentalist, I want to use my art to spread a message against anti-environmentalism. Most of my pieces combine elements of nature with my passion for architecture.
