I’m a parent and want to sit in on my child’s dance class or lesson. Am I allowed?

If a parent wishes to sit in on their child’s dance private lesson or group class or attend an end-of-class student demonstration they need to provide their BC Vaccine Card. Please report to the Check-In Desk to show it. Please note: this needs to be pre-approved. Send your request to info@placedesarts.ca.

Are PdA staff and teachers required to be fully vaccinated?

Currently in British Columbia there is no specific legislation requiring employees to get vaccinated. At this time, PdA is not implementing a mandatory vaccination policy for our employees or self-employed contracted teachers.

Do I have to show my BC Vaccine Card every time I participate in an adult dance or movement class?

If you provide consent to Place des Arts documenting your vaccination status on your customer account in our registration system, then you won’t need to show proof on subsequent visits. Please refer to our privacy statement for details regarding the collection of your personal information.

Please note: we can only receive consent from participants 19 years of age or older.

If you prefer we do not document your status, please be prepared to provide your BC Vaccine Card at the Check-In Desk before attending every class or lesson.

I’m attending an event at Place des Arts. Do I need to show my BC Vaccine Card?
