Theatre Arts Classes

Place des Arts’ progressive Theatre Arts program for children and teens offers outstanding acting training for theatre, TV and film.

Our program offers introductory and intermediate-level classes that build the fundamental skills necessary to prepare students for our Coquitlam Youth Theatre Company, a performance training program for ages 10-17. Our On-camera Acting classes give students the skills to create realistic and compelling performances for the lens.

New this year:Theatre for Life! This class is for adults aged 50+ to explore drama in a non-threatening and relaxed environment that gives space to share stories, find a means of self-expression and build confidence.

Classes are taught by highly skilled working professionals who take pride in making sure all students receive personalized attention. Class sizes are based on the needs of the content, while maintaining a low teacher-to-student ratio.
