Summer Teen Theatre Troupe Auditions

Calling performers ages 15 - 18

Work with acclaimed professional director Kevin Bennett this summer! Place des Arts’ Summer Teen Theatre Troupe will perform a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night Dream in Coquitlam parks.

NEW this year – a 5 day run at Coquitlam’s Town Centre Park Plaza.

Place des Arts is thrilled to present for the 4th year the Summer Teen Theatre Troupe. Under acclaimed professional director Kevin Bennett*, a company of 10 young actors ages 15-18 (must be 15 by July 3, 2017) will rehearse and perform in local parks and at Coquitlam's Town Centre Park Plaza.

The program will run Monday July 3 – Sunday July 30, 2017.

As this is a short-term intensive program, all actors must be available for all rehearsals. Exact rehearsal schedule and other information will be released at the audition. We are looking for young actors with a strong commitment to the work and a willingness to have fun!


GENERAL AUDITION INFORMATION:

When: Sunday May 28, 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Where: Place des Arts (1120 Brunette Avenue, Coquitlam)

What: This will be a 1-hour group audition. Participants will not need to have anything prepared before the audition. The audition will include physical movement and text work.

Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in, and bring a bottle of water.
